Annual Heritage Quilt Show - June
(Please click on photo to enlarge)
Dates: June 24 through July 4, 2011
Times: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Town Hall, Julian
Admission: Donation
Presented by
the Julian Woman’s Club, new and cherished heirloom quilts belonging to
local residents will be displayed. Wall hangings and fabric art will
compliment the traditional size quilts. Each year there is a quilt,
hand fashioned by the talented young ladies of the Woman’s Club, offered for
raffle. The “opportunity quilt” for 2011 is rumored to be the best
ever! This wonderful collection will be presented in the historic
Julian Town Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Town Hall
is at 2129 Main Street, located on the corner of the only 4-way stop in
town. Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted.
Don’t miss these hand made treasures. The
last day to enjoy the show is the 4th of July. Julian’s Independence Day Parade
festivities begin at 10:00. The Town Hall will be open before and after the
parade. What a grand way to celebrate the day!
