Menghini Annual Arts, Wine and Music Festival in Historic
Julian - September
Dates: September 27 & 28, 2008
Times: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Menghini Winery - 3 miles north of Julian, CA, near the
intersection of Farmers Road and Wynola Road
This event is free and open to the public with
plenty of free parking.
Each year as the apples
ripen amid the beautiful mountains of historic Julian, locals prepare for a
down-home, small town tradition: the Menghini Arts, Wine and Music Festival.
The event marks the 22nd year of celebrating the good life in the
back-country.
Many area artists working in glass, clay, wood,
painting and more will be on hand to show and sell their work.
Visitors will sample locally grown and produced wines, listen to jumping,
live country music and watch our terrific Mountain Gypsy Belly Dancers while
relaxing in the apple orchard surrounding the vineyard.
Come and enjoy this unique experience of culture, fall
colors and fresh mountain air.
High resolution images and interviews are available upon request.
