Every year Julian host a myriad of fun-filled activities, some with traditions dating back for a hundred years and others that reflect the distinctive four seasons and their natural beauty. The following calendar lists popular events already scheduled throughout the year.

‘Cowboy Jack’ Johnson is the lead singer from The Hank Show, Band In Black and is the singing cowboy for Rawhide Ranch in Bonsall, CA.

June 28: 8th Annual Barrel Tasting - Menghini Winery, – 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. – The San Diego Vitners will be pouring tank and barrel samples of unreleased wines as well as bottled wines, which are ready for your enjoyment. December: Holiday of Hope Annual Leg-Up Ranch Charity Event 2008 – The event will feature a number of wonderful holiday opportunities, including photos with Santa, Pony Rides, a Christmas Tree Lot, Live Music, a Trading Post and a Live Auction. There will be food, fun, a petting corral filled with farm animals, and a perfect opportunity to enjoy scenic Julian with your family while supporting a wonderful non-profit organization – The Leg-Up Ranch, located at 4859 Highway 79, just 7 miles South of Historic Julian. May : 2nd Annual Julian Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be played at the Warner Springs Resort. Join area golfers in an Apple Day Centennial special event. Play "Best Ball" rules with an entry of $75 if signed up by April 30th. Entry fees beginning May 1 are $85. A brand new Corvette will be awarded to the first person skilled enough to sink a "hole in one." There is also a prize reserved for the shot "closest to the pin."
